Description
Antique 18th Century Country Oak Dresser and dating from the time of George III around 1780. Constructed from solid oak it has a plank top with hand carved frieze and moulded edge above three carved drawers all of which are pine lined with brass handles and escutcheons.each drawer front is hand carved . The first drawer has the initials JW ., the middle drawer has the date 1784 and the third drawer has the initials MW. Possibly a commemorative Marriage piece. It is raised on squared and reeded legs.
